1 Kings 6:1-13 - Here's What God Requires of His People
About this Episode
Solomon begins building the temple:
- The temple is rather small for the temples of the time period
- Solomon doesn't want the temple to be corrupted by anything, even tools
- Was Solomon following the command of Deut. 27:5 where God says not to use any iron tools on His altars?
- God tells Solomon that the temple is not what He requires to have a relationship with His people
