1 Kings 6:1-13 - Here's What God Requires of His People

Solomon begins building the temple:

• The temple is rather small for the temples of the time period
• Solomon doesn't want the temple to be corrupted by anything, even tools
• Was Solomon following the command of Deut. 27:5 where God says not to use any iron tools on His altars?
• God tells Solomon that the temple is not what He requires to have a relationship with His people
