Annihilationism: Rethinking Hell With Chris Date

Annihilationism is the belief that the wicked will cease to exist after the final judgment. Conditionalism goes an extra step beyond annihilationism to clarify why mankind can not survive eternally in the lake of fire. In this episode, Chris Date comes on the show to explain why the wicked will be annihilated at the final judgment because of the conditional state of eternal life. His uses the resurection of the dead, the nature of humanities mortality, and the atonement of Jesus Christ to articulate his possition of conditionalism.
