Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we dive into 1 Peter 3:3-4 and look to our inner selves for a reference of beauty. What does God truly find beautiful?

"The problem is, social media has gotten us in the habit of looking better for our photos than for the occasion itself. This culture has bred an environment of comparison. We look at other people's “after” photos from their weight loss journey and we forget there are an extremely hard journey for that person to get there. We have to stop this comparison culture and start looking to our inner selves. 

The beautiful part about our God is that he sees us for who we truly are. There is no vanity in God's perception of beauty. 

God is looking for a gentle and quiet spirit. This doesn't mean that you are a quiet person who doesn't get to share an opinion, this means you are gentle with others. It means you listen to who they really are rather than what they appear to be. Take the time to get to know a person for their actions and desires. Get to know a person for everything they can become in this life."
