We love to watch movies where the hero is stuck in an impossible situation with time running out. Will he make it? Can he make it? And he’s rescued just in the nick of time. But when WE’RE stuck in a tough spot, it’s not nearly as enjoyable. No inspiring music – maybe just an icy, lonely silence. And it may look like our time is up.
