Does It Really Matter What My Kids Watch on TV?

We are certainly a media driven society. Whether it's tv, computers or ipods, our kids are surrounded by a barrage of content. But does it *really* matter what they watch? If we watch it together and talk through what they see or we're going to church and teaching them a lot about the Bible, is that enough? What about what all their friends are watching?
