Don't Worry About A Thing

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Psalm 4:8 which says "8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety."

"In that class, the instructor asked us to take in what we needed and to release what we didn’t. It was a physical representation of soaking in the grace of God and pushing away all of the negative self-talk, doubt, and ugly emotions.

At the end of the class we lied down and looked up. All I could see were the birds chirping above me. Another beautiful reminder that God takes care of the birds. They have food and a nest they call home. If He cares for them, how much more does He care for us.

I encourage you to take just a few minutes today to go on a walk, or to simply drive with the windows down. Try and soak in some nature. It quickly humbles us and reminds us of the peace our Lord brings. The peace that even in this crazy world, every little thing is gonna be alright. So don’t worry, about a thing."
