It’s easy to say we are walking by faith when everything in life is smooth sailing. But what happens when you’ve prayed long and hard for something and you don’t get the answer you wanted? You asked God, and you felt sure that he wanted it for you too. Yet you didn’t land that great job, your kids didn’t return to church, the relationship you’ve been working on hasn’t been reconciled. We may feel confused, hurt, disappointed, or possibly even abandoned. So what do you do? This is where faith is put to the test, where it has the opportunity to grow deeper within us.
