Free to Follow: The Beauty of Being Led by the Lord

Mothers are many things. We are nurturers, chauffeurs, cooks, short-order cooks and first-aid providers. We are shoulders to cry on, advice-givers, drivers ed teachers, and broken heart menders. But the most important role we play in the lives of our kids is the role of teacher. As a homeschool mom, I learned a lesson very early in my mothering journey. Where students and teachers are concerned, it’s the teacher learns the most. After all, we can’t teach what we don’t understand. David acknowledges His need to be taught by the Lord in Psalm 143:10.
