Jan 25 Doctrine & Covenants 6:16-20

God revealed so many things to Oliver in the revelation. He revealed that he had the gift of revelation and that he would give him the gift of translation. And as wonderful as those gifts are, I think the most important thing that God revealed to Oliver here was the revelation of who He was and His relationship to Oliver. He told him that He knew him, that He knew the thoughts and desires of his heart. But most importantly God shared His love. I believe that as we approach God humbly and with gratitude and love, he can reveal Himself to us as well, and we can know of the divine love He has for us as well!
