July 1 Doctrine & Covenants 71:9

Today we took a step back into section 71 because I forgot to talk about my favorite verse in that section! I love the promise that no weapon forged against us will prosper. However, if we overlook the caveat that the Lord gives in verse, 10 we could be sorely disappointed. No weapon forged against us will prosper IN THE LORD'S DUE TIME. In the end the forces of righteousness will win, but sometimes that promise doesn't help when we feel entrenched in struggle. If you are there if things look and feel bleak, if it feels like all the weapons are prospering against us, well then my friend, it isn't the end yet. And for now in the midst of the struggle we can rely on "the immediate goodness of God."
