Oct 5- Becoming Like Him

I really loved Elder Whiting's talk Becoming like Him. His story about having a priesthood leader point out a Christ-like attribute he needed to work on and then having his wife confirm that hard to hear truth, reminded me of the rich man who was vulnerable enough to ask the Savior, "what lack I yet?" It takes courage to ask that question, and even more courage to make the changes and rely on the Savior for His help and Grace. But as we are willing to ask the question and follow the answer, our focus shifts from just keeping the commandants to really Becoming like Him!
