Sept 26- Doctrine & Covenants 109:1-5

1,000 saints packed the walls of the Kirtland temple for the dedication March 27, 1836, and even more waited outside, unable to fit indoors. They did it because they had sacrificed everything to build God a house on earth, and that sacrifice lead to deep conversion. They did it because they understood the impact that these priesthood ordinances and these covenants with God would have.
