Sept 3- Proverbs 31 Eccle 12

Today we go back a little bit because I just felt strongly that I needed to clarify some meanings in Proverbs 31. I grew up hating verse 10. It didn't sit well, it didn't feel right. But as a young seminary teacher Armed with my Hebrew dictionary this verse changed for me. The word virtuous in this scripture is ONLY translated as virtuous in the Bible when it is speaking about women...Don't get me started on why that was...Which was why I wasn't going to share this scripture at all. What this original Hebrew word REALLY means is CORAGEOUS, STRONG, VALIANT, POWERFUL. Changes things doesn't it! Valiant, strong and powerful women are needed. Valiant and strong women will change the world!
