Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Exodus 15:2 which says "“The LORD is my strength and my defense ; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him."

"Our stories hold power. Some of us have grown up as Christians in church our whole lives. Some of us have strayed away and something brought us back. Others of us, had no understanding of Jesus until we were in our mid to late twenties - or even mid to late sixties. 

No person, no story, to testimony is too “boring” for God. 

While our stories may be different, my prayer is that our responses are the same. This verse is the response to my testimony - in 2012 my life would change forever and I didn't know it yet. I didn't have a prayer routine, I had read very little of the bible, yet Jesus was my strength and my defense. There was a time in my life where everything went wrong. Years of pain and loss. I had just about enough of it and I heard the words “come to my house” - I knew it was God. And like the verse says, He became my salvation."
