The Discipline of Prayer

We often expect God to work in real-time like our smartphones, don’t we?  While He can (and sometimes does) grant answers immediately, He often doesn’t. Rather than blame Him, we can take a step back to realize it took us longer than “immediate” to get into our current mess, and will take longer than a spiritual hot second to bring it into order. Herein lies the “discipline” of prayer. Mama Bear, let’s get wise about how we approach the throne so we can actually know we come in confidence, rather than coming in desperation and confusion.
