About this Episode
Christianity is an intellectual faith, and the Lord wants us to use our minds. We see that in passages that say “Think on these things” or “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.” But how do you know if you’ve made an idol out of knowledge?
You might find yourself critiquing and correcting more than you build others up. Knowledge can be an idol when it’s solely for you and not used for the edification of the Body of Christ. In this episode, the Perrys discuss why it’s important that we pray for wisdom more than we seek after knowledge, and that we’re faithful with what we do know by actually applying it to our lives.
