Showing honor is a biblical principle. When we fail to give honor where honor is due, we miss out on many great works of God. For the sake of our children and our children’s children, we need to establish a culture of honor in our homes and in society. We don’t have to agree with everyone we honor—when we cannot honor the person, we honor the office.
