When Is A Marriage Separation Biblical? When Does “Difficult” Become Abusive?

Unfortunately in our fallen world, sin takes over and all the good intentions of one spouse cannot overcome the abuse of the other. It’s hard for many women to know when the line has been crossed from difficult to just plain abusive, and I have a unique perspective as someone who grew up in an abusive home. Unfortunately the church hasn’t been very helpful in this arena, but I believe we can do better.
